Daniel C. Frain
Owner, Licensed Funeral Director
President of Frain Mortuary, Inc.

Dan Frain is a life long resident of Pulaski County. Dan graduated from Winamac High School in 1969 and is a 1971 graduate of the Indiana College of Mortuary Science. He received his Indiana Funeral Director’s License in 1972.  On May 11, 2022 Dan was recognized by the Indiana Funeral Director's Association with a 50 year pin.

Dan has been active in his local community and in statewide professional groups his entire life.   He was awarded the H.J. Halleck Community Service Award in 1992 for his dedication and service to the Pulaski County Community and in 2000, Dan was awarded the Sagamore of the Wabash by Gov. Frank O'Bannnon - the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a Hoosier civilian.  In 2016, he was chosen as a Bicentennial Torch Bearer, one of handful to carry the torch in our county. Dan was inducted into the inaugural class of Winamac High School's Distinguished Alumni in 2018.

Dan served as Pulaski County Coroner from 1987 until 1994,with many years served as a Deputy Coroner prior to being elected to two terms.  He currently serves in an advisory capacity to the Coroner's Office. In 1995, Dan served as President of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association (IFDA) and remains an active member in the assocation.  Currently, Dan serves as an instructor of funeral law across the state. Dan is a member of the Winamac Kiwanis Club and Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce. He is a Past Master of Winamac Lodge #262 F&AM and current Member of Royal Center Lodge #585 F&AM.  He is a member of the Winamac First Christian Church where he has served as Elder, Trustee and Deacon.

Dan is married to Jaqueline "Jacki" Gordon Frain. They have two children, Stefanie and Jon and one grandson, Holden.

Jon Maxwell Frain

Jon Maxwell Frain is the son of Dan & Jacki Frain. Jon graduated from Winamac High School in 2003. In 2007, he received a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University (Bloomington, IN). In 2008, he received an Associate’s Degree from Worsham College of Mortuary Science (Chicago, IL).

Jon began working at the funeral home in 2005. In 2009, after graduating from mortuary school and serving a one year internship under his father’s guidance, he became a licensed funeral director.  He also holds a life insurance license and medico-legal death investigator certification.

Jon is active in the Pulaski County community and enjoys serving others.  He is a member of the First Christian Church in Winamac, member and past president of the Winamac Kiwanis Club, and a member of the Royal Center Lodge #585 F&AM.  He served several years as Chairman of the Pulaski County Election Board.  Jon served as Chief Deputy Coroner in Pulaski County from 2016-2019 and served as Pulaski County Coroner 2020-2022.  He volunteers his time as a Warrior Youth Baseball coach and as a Cub Scout leader.  Jon is a Life Member of the IU Alumni Association and previously served on the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity Alumni Board.  He is a member of the National Funeral Director's Association and Indiana Funeral Director's Association.  He previously served on the Indiana Funeral Service Education Foundation.  

Jon is an avid IU Football & Basketball fan as well as a Chicago Cubs fan.  He enjoys traveling, golfing, boating, and playing Euchre as well as spending time with his family & friends.  

Jon is the proud father of Holden Daniel Frain who attends Eastern Pulaski Elementary School in Winamac.

Eugene L. Clark

Gene began working for Frain Mortuary in 2014 and has proved to be a tremendous asset to the family firm.  Gene has many years of small town business experience that reflect in the kind way he works with the public.  He and his wife Rhonda reside in Winamac. They enjoy camping and spending time with family.

Gregory Henry
Unlicensed Staff

Greg began working for Frain Mortuary in 2020.  Greg is a US Navy Veteran and an active member of VFW Post #1728 in Winamac.  He enjoys being a part of the community and serving others.  He is currently involved in a once in a lifetime renovation and rededication project with the Memorial Swinging Bridge.  Greg and his wife, Brenda reside in Winamac.  They enjoy time spent with family and friends, especially their grandchildren!

John R. Behny

John began working for the firm in 2016.  John has a diverse background, including working in sales and as a Registered Nurse.   He enjoys kayaking the Tippecanoe and walking his dog.  John is a member the Royal Center Lodge #585 F&AM. He and his wife, Leanne reside in Winamac.  John cares deeply for our community and his family.
