Obituary of Jerry Lynn Scott

Jerry Lynn Scott,70, of Pulaski, IN passed away at 9 AM Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the home of his brother, David, in Winamac, IN. Jerry was born on February 24, 1949 in Winamac, IN to the late Wilbur L. and Cletha F. Koepkey Scott. Jerry had worked at Wilson Foods in Logansport, IN until the plant closed in 1994. He retired from BraunAbility in Winamac, IN in 2013. Jerry enjoyed helping his friend Kenny with farm work. Jerry was involved in Scouting as a boy. He attended the National Boy Scout Jamboree in Valley Forge, PA in 1964. Jerry was a founding director of the Northern Indiana Power from the Past and was an active participant in the saw mill crew at the annual shows. He was an avid antique collector. Jerry enjoyed going to flea Markets and auctions. He enjoyed travelling. He especially enjoyed going out east and to his property in Maine. Jerry will be remembered for his annual fourth of July celebrations with his family. Jerry always enjoyed family gatherings and helping friends. Jerry had a special place in his heart for dogs and many strays found their way to his home over the years. Koepkey Scott Parents Dean Scott Brother Visitation will be from 4-8 PM EST Friday, January 3, 2020 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN. Memorial Services will be held 10 AM EST Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN with Pastor Tod Masters officiating. Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery in Winamac, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to Pulaski Health Care Center Resident’s Fund or Quilts of Valor Online Tributes may be offered at www.frainmortuary.com. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.
