Dana Mitchell, 54, of San Pierre, IN passed away in the morning hours of Sunday, January 12, 2020 after battling an illness. She was born on October 27, 1965 in Gary, IN to the late Charles and Phyllis Allen Fleenor. Dana grew up in Medaryville, IN and attended West Central High School. She spent most of her life as a CNA and working for the American Legion. She was an active member of the Medaryville American Legion Auxiliary. Dana enjoyed working in her yard, helping out the community and spending time with family & friends. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by: Glen (Michael Hensley) Keller, Aurora, IL Son Kimmie Keller, Las Vegas, NV Daughter Dallas (Jenea) Mitchell, Indianapolis, IN Step Son David (Michelle) Mitchell, Knox, IN Step Son Christian Mitchell, Monticello, IN Step Son 5 Grandchildren Preceded in death by: Charles and Phyllis Allen Fleenor, Parents Chuck Fleenor, Brother Dave Mitchell, Life Companion Graveside Services will be held at 2 PM EST Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Independence Cemetery in Medaryville, IN. Burial will take place at Independence Cemetery in Medaryville, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family. Cremation Arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Medaryville, IN. Online Tributes may be offered at www.frainmortuary.com.
