Obituary of Waldo Ghormley, Jr.

Waldo E. “Butch” Ghormley, Jr., 60, of Kewanna, IN (formerly of Winamac, IN) passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020. Butch was born on April 18, 1959 in Huntington, IN to Waldo E. and Sylvia Eckert Ghormley. On July 3, 2009, he married Sandra Hurlburt. Butch worked most of his life as a welder. He enjoyed collecting die cast cars and working outdoors. He was a member of the Winamac VFW Auxiliary. Butch loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed. Survivors include: Sandra Hurlburt Ghormley, Wife William “Billy” (Brittany) Ghormley, Son Cody Doty, Step Son Misty Graham, Step Daughter Jessica Harshman, Step Daughter 10 Grandchildren Sylvia Eckert Ghormley, Mother Penny Webster, Sister Janie (Richard) Pyle, Sister Several Nieces and Nephews Preceded in death by: Waldo E. Ghormley, Sr., Father Brady Graham, Infant Step Grandson Patricia Ghormley, Infant Sister Debbie Ghormley, Infant Sister A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 PM EST Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses. Online tributes may be offered at www.frainmortuary.com.
