Obituary of Betty M. Ailes

Betty M. Ailes, 82, of Medaryville, IN passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East Hospital in Lafayette, IN. Betty was born on July 16, 1937 in Medaryville to the late Marion and Milda Foust Poisel. She graduated from Medaryville High School in 1956. On September 29, 1956, Betty married the late Harold L. Ailes in Medaryville. She was a devoted wife of 56 years. Betty was a proud homemaker. In her younger years, she enjoyed canning with her sisters. Betty and Harold cleaned the Medaryville Bank and Medaryville Christian Church for nearly 20 years. Betty was a member of the Medaryville Assembly of God Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing word searches. Betty loved her children and would do anything for them. She especially loved her grandchildren. Betty will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by: Cathy (Roger) Frinkel, Daughter Lyne (Mark) Conley, Daughter Cheryl (Kenny Messer) Ailes, Daughter 5 Grandchildren 14 Great Grandchildren Dorothy Owens, Sister Many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins Preceded in death by: Marion and Milda Foust Poisel, Parents Harold L. Ailes, Husband 3 Grandchildren Zelda Tetzloff, Sister Alladene Archer, Sister Edwin Poisel, Sister Elmer Poisel, Brother Walter Poisel, Brother Bill Poisel, Brother Visitation will be from 10 AM – 2 PM EST Monday, March 9, 2020 at Frain Mortuary Querry- Ulbricht in Medaryville, IN. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM EST Monday, March 9, 2020 at Frain Mortuary Querry- Ulbricht in Medaryville, IN with Pastors Tom Dewlen and Bill McNabney officiating. Burial will take place at White Post Cemetery in Medaryville, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Medaryville Assembly of God Church.
