Obituary of Emma Lou Nielsen

Emma Lou Nielsen, 58, of Winamac, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital.  She was born on July 21, 1961 in Knox, IN to the late Alvin B. and Emma E. Sahlhoff Zellers.  She graduated from Winamac High School in 1980.  Emma was employed at Carter Fuel in Logansport, IN.  She was a hard worker and loved spending time with her family and friends.  Emma was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Winamac.  She was also a member of the Winamac Eagles.   She loved animals, especially her Basset Hound, Scyler.  She enjoyed long walks around Bruce Lake, fishing and crocheting.  She also enjoyed going to casinos.  Emma will be dearly missed.

Graveside Services will be held at 3 PM EDT Monday, March 23, 2020 at the Winamac Cemetery in Winamac, IN with Pastor Tom Woodley officiating.

Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery in Winamac, IN.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Winamac, IN at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be made to American Lung Association or ALS Association.
