Got to know Joanie thru Bunco. Sure enjoyed our times together. She was the youngest 89 year old I've ever met! She was such a classy lady, quiet and elegant. Will miss her when club begins again. Rest in peace Joanie.

Joanie was the sweetest lady ever! I so enjoyed being in Bunco with her all of these years. We are going to miss her laughter and her stories and that little bit of ornery mixed in for good measure!! She was quite a lady! Your family have my condolences and prayers.

Deb & Tim, Tracy & Brian - your mom was the best! I loved all the times that I got to spend with the Smiths - so much fun and laughter spending time at the cottage, going to ball games, and pizza at Club Capri at Bass Lake...never a dull moment! She and Art will always be in my heart. Nancy Gagle

Joanie was certainly a sweet and proper lady, although she had a little spunk as well. I've enjoyed playing Bunco with her over the years and will definitely miss seeing her smiling face.
