He had a good heart we will miss him. He would come by and spend time talking to us several times a week when he was still driving. I would look for him to come by, he sure was a nice man and we enjoyed his jokes.

Gentlemen (and families of same) your parents have now( both ) left lasting legacies of memories to you all and for your friends, more importantly, they have left parts of themselves to live on in the lives of their progeny.
I(Dave ) am privileged to know both of your parents but to have had much more opportunity to appreciate your father's work ethic and interest in making his neighborhood a better place to live and raise a family. Needs to be said that while your father was farming, your mother was instilling their shared life values in your minds. May you all be blessed as you each continue fostering the values and faith of your folks!

I have many fond memories of time spent with Maurice! We served hundreds of pancakes and played as many hands of euchre. He was an outstanding lodge brother and a great example of a Christian man. I look forward to joining him at the euchre table with Harry, Everett, Jack, and my dad when I am called home. And of course, the rest of the brothers from The Independent Order of Odd Fellows Winamac Lodge #168.
"I AM AN ODD FELLOW:
I believe in the Fatherhood of God, and the Brotherhood of man. I believe in Friendship, Love and Truth as basic guides to the ultimate destiny of all mankind. I believe my home, my church or temple, my lodge, and my community deserve my best work, my modest pride, my earnest faith, and my deepest loyalty, as I perform my duty "to visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead and educate the orphan" and as I work with others to build a better world, because, in spirit and in truth, I am and must always be, grateful to my Creator, faithful to my country and fraternal to my fellow man. I am an Odd Fellow."

He never knew a stranger
Was always there to help anyone
Very well liked
Never will forget since I was a kid, when it was time to shell corn Maurice was 1 of our drivers to haul the corn to the elevator. To us he is better known a "Streaker" (his CB handle)
The memories is leaving behind with us all
