A lifetime of family memories, and Uncle Charlie is prominent throughout: From being a little kid and a bunch of us cousins are playing some sort of game in a large circle stamped into the snow in Grandma's back yard and Charlie's laughing and running around right there with us.All the way to the almost present day, a family reunion and Charlie's telling stories and showing us letters from Grandpa's brother Bill in World War I.
I'm sad not to be there today and my heart is with you all. Blessings for his journey and peace to family and friends.

Tammy and I will continue to be reminded of Charlie's artistic ability as we gaze at the double strength glass fronts to a kitchen cabinet he sand blasted a special pattern onto at my request almost 40 years ago as a newly wed wanting to impress his bride with a special, one of a kind gift.
What a friend and gentleman we have lost to this physical life. And what a great trail for us he has blazed that we should want to follow! He knew the One who is Perfect too and was not negligent in 'giving in Jesus' name' to others. May his kind be multiplied.
Our prayers continue for the family.

Chuck buried my great grandfather and grandmother, Fred and June Borders, and my grandmother and grandfather, John and June Borders Strange, and mom purchased a Headstone from Chuck for her husband Willard Mudd. Mom Helen June Strange Mudd passed away in November 2019. Mom said The McKinley's and Borders were always friends, and that Chuck was such a good person to everyone. During our family funerals at the Winamac Cemetery, Chuck was very much the gentleman and all around great guy mom said he was. He made me feel good as if he knew me all my life. Chuck McKinley was a great person and I am glad I was able to know him.

Joyce & family, I am so very sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. He and I were distant cousins through my Mom, so Charlie always considered me "family," and always had a hug for me. I will surely miss his weekly hugs every Sunday at church. It makes me smile to think that Charlie and my Mom are now whooping it together up in Heaven! Rest in Peace, Charlie.

I worked many elections with Charlie. He was such a good guy. He was patient and never anything but a gentleman I remember going to pre election meetings and he would expertly explain the rules and procedures and always answered all questions until the person truly understood. Common sense was a major part of his make up! I was proud to serve for him.
My prayers go to his family as I know how deeply he will be missed
