Carol A. Nowak, 81, of Chicago, IL passed away at 8:05 PM Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Prairie Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation in Chicago Heights, IL.  She was born on January 15, 1939 in North Judson, IN to the late Frank and Jean [Newman] Shields.  On March 23, 1957, Carol married Paul Nowak, Jr.  He passed away on December 15, 1982.  Carol was a homemaker and factory worker.

 

Survivors include:

Paul (fiancé: Kathleen Hutson) Nowak III, Winamac, IN Son

Robert Nowak, Whiting, IN Son

Rick Nowak, Coshocton, OH Son

Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

Kay Shields, Winamac, IN Sister

 

Preceded in death by: 

Frank and Jean [Newman] Shields, Parents

Paul Nowak, Jr., Husband

William Nowak, Son

Richard Shields, Brother

 

Private Graveside Services will be held at Highland Cemetery in North Judson, IN with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating.

 

Private Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery in North Judson, IN.
