Obituary of Sally Ann Marszalik

Sally Ann Marszalik, 85, of Winamac, IN passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at her home.  She was born on July 27, 1935 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Mary [Mrozek] Czyzyk.  She was baptized on August 4, 1935 at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Chicago.  Sally married Joseph Stanley Marszalik, Jr. on October 29, 1955 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Chicago.  He passed away on June 20, 2008. 

Sally was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church where she taught CCD for many years and was fondly known as “Mrs. M.”  She was a former member of the Christian Mothers.  

Sally was a hard worker and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.   She worked alongside her husband on the farm and was also a caregiver for several individuals over the years.  She loved to cook and spend time with her three grandsons and great grandson.  Sally will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 2-6 PM EDT Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6 PM EDT Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN Pastor Aaron Woodruff officiating.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM EDT Monday, September 21, 2020 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Rev. Daniel Shine officiating.

Burial will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Winamac, IN.
