Obituary of SHIRLEY A. FOUST BONNELL

Shirley Ann [Foust] Bonnell, 85, of Winamac, IN passed away at 11:23 AM Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Franciscan Health Hospital in Lafayette, IN.  She was born on October 18, 1935 in Star City, IN to the late Lorenza Jefferson and Golda Louise [Little] Foust.  Shirley married Jay Lynn Bonnell on August 25, 1989 in Winamac.  He passed away on December 13, 2013.

Shirley owned her own painting and wallpapering business for many years.  She also worked as a parts manager for Shepherd’s, Knebel’s, and Dobson’s car dealerships. 

Shirley enjoyed riding her gator, spending time with her dog (Maddie), and family gatherings (especially the bonfires).  Most of all, Shirley loved her friends and family dearly and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Public Viewing will be from 12 Noon – 1 PM EST Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.  Due to COVID-19 concerns, the family will not be present to visit with guests, however they encourage friends to come say farewell to Shirley.

Private Family Graveside Services will be held at Winamac Cemetery in Winamac, IN with Eugene Berg officiating.

Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery in Winamac, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Pulaski Animal Center or Lion’s Club or Pulaski County Human Services Food Pantry.
