Obituary of Margaret Ann Leman

Margaret Ann Leman, 94, of Francesville, IN went home to be with the Lord at 6:50 AM Thursday, January 28, 2021.  She passed away at Creasy Springs Health Campus in Lafayette, IN.  Margaret was born on February 18, 1926 in Francesville to the late Adam and Lydia [Albrecht] Gutwein.  She graduated from Francesville High School in 1944.  On March 22, 1953, Margaret married Melvin J. Leman in Francesville.  He passed away on March 21, 2019.

Margaret was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family.  She was a member of the Francesville First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was actively involved in the music ministry.  

Margaret enjoying gardening, baking, and cooking.  Her home was always a welcoming place to gather.

Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 2-5 PM EST Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM EST Monday, February 1, 2021 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN with Pastor Dennis Gutwein officiating. 

Burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Gideon’s International or to the Francesville First Baptist Church Mission Fund.
