Obituary of Alma R. Moody McFarland

Alma R. Moody McFarland, 89, of Winamac, IN passed away at 3:15 AM Monday, February 22, 2021 at Hickory Creek Healthcare in Winamac.  She was born on October 21, 1931 in Pulaski, IN to the late Frank Louis and Catherine “Katie” [Foerg] Worley.  Alma graduated from Pulaski High School.  On August 15, 1953, she married William D. “Dudley” Moody.  He passed away July 18, 1972.  On August 30, 1974, she married Kenneth R. “Kenny” McFarland.  He passed away June 25, 2016. 

Alma was a lifetime member of the Winamac VFW Auxiliary Post #1728.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends, especially playing cards and Yahtzee.  She also enjoyed fishing and bowling.  Alma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon – 2 PM EST Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM EST Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN with Rev. Andrew DeKeyser officiating. 

Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
