Obituary of Ruth Taylor

Ruth Taylor, 94, of Rossville, IN (formerly of Winamac, IN) passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at her home.  She was born on November 6, 1926 in Winamac to the late Perry V. and Ethel [Agnew] Troutman.  Ruth graduated from Kewanna High School.  On June 9, 1944, she married Alfred N. “Al” Taylor at the Kewanna Church of Christ.  He passed away on November 11, 2009.  Ruth spent her life helping Al on the farm and working at First Union Bank and Trust in Winamac.  She was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Winamac where she enjoyed singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school.  Ruth enjoyed spending time with her son and his family.  She especially enjoyed making crafts and traveling with them.  Ruth will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will gather on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 4-7 PM EDT for a Celebration of Life at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.

Private Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to First Christian Church in Winamac, IN.
