Obituary of Leisa K. Miears

Leisa K. [Butler] Miears, 55, of Kewanna, IN passed away following a brief illness on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at IU Health Hospital in Lafayette, IN.   She was born on November 16, 1965 in Dallas, TX.  She graduated from high school and completed cosmetology school in Texas.  Leisa moved to Indiana in 2007.  She enjoyed being a stay at home step mom and flower gardening as well as doing Sudoku and crossword puzzles.  Leisa was loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

She is survived by:

Michael Shane Miears, Son

Kaitlyn Nicole Ries, Daughter

Steven Butler, Brother

Harold Brown, Significant Other

Kasey Brown, Step Daughter

Preceded in death by:

Lily D. [Butler] Stennis, Mother

The Family will Host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
