Obituary of Phyllis A. Lowry

Phyllis A.  Lowry, 85, of Reynolds, IN passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at her home.  Phyllis was born on February 17, 1936 in San Pierre, IN to Lewis and Theresa Smallfelt Kracht. On August 17, 1958, Phyllis married Kenneth F. Lowry in Medaryville, IN.  Kenneth died August 21, 2000.

Phyllis worked as a secretary at Kaiser Agricultural Chemicals and at the Co-op Elevator in Francesville, IN. She worked in the fertilizer industry for over 50 years.

She was a 1954 graduate of Medaryville High School.  Phyllis was a member of the St. James Salem Church in Francesville.

Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family especially hosting Sunday dinners for her family.  She enjoyed gardening and celebrating Christmas. Each year she and her family set up Christmas lights and decorations for the community at her home.

Visitation will be from 2-7 PM EDT on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM EDT on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN with Rev. Judith Doll officiating.

Burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. James- Salem Church or to Mercy Ships.
