Obituary of Charles A. Rose, Sr.
Charles A. “Charlie” Rose, Sr., 92, of Winamac, IN passed away at home on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. He was born on October 9, 1928 in North Judson, IN to the late Rudolph and Mollie [Rater] Rose. On October 28, 1950, Charlie married Bernice M. Garling in Francesville, IN. She passed away April 21, 2014.
Charlie was a longtime member of St. James Salem United Church of Christ in Francesville.
Charlie was a proud member of the Teamsters Union for over 30 years. He enjoyed building, woodworking, and gardening. Following retirement, Charlie worked with his brothers doing construction.
Charlie was an avid country music fan. He enjoyed playing his guitar and making music with his family.
Charlie loved his family very much and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 2-6 PM EDT Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM EDT Monday, July 12, 2021 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN with Rev. Nelda Seger officiating.
Burial will take place at St. James Salem Cemetery in Francesville, IN. The American Legion will conduct Military Graveside Services.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. James Salem United Church of Christ Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Pulaski County. Make checks payable to Community Foundation with the church name in the memo line.
