Obituary of Dorothy M. Burch Talbott

Dorothy M. Burch Talbott, 99, of Plymouth, IN (formerly of Monterey, IN) passed away at 9:05 PM Monday, August 30, 2021 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.  She was born on December 19, 1921 in Delong, IN to the late Grover C. and Pearl M. [Bunnell] Kline.   She spent her youth growing up on the family farm in Delong. 

Dorothy’s first marriage was to Raymond E. “Ray” Burch in 1942 and they had one son, Alan.  They made their home on a farm outside of Monterey.  Dorothy and her husband worked together at the Monterey School for many years.  Sadly, Ray passed away in 1979.  Several years later, Dorothy met a widower, Charles Talbott from Rochester, IN.  They were married in 1983.  He preceded her in death in 1999.

Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She will be deeply missed.

Kim (husband: Xavier) Dvorak, Satellite Beach, FL Granddaughter

Greg (wife: Joy) Burch, Plymouth, IN Grandson

4 Great Grandchildren: Delaney, Macey, Olivia, and Davin

Visitation will be from 11 AM – 12 Noon EDT Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon EDT Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN with Pastor Matt Elliott officiating.

Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church in Plymouth, IN.
