Obituary of Judith Glee Malchow

Judith Glee Malchow, 85, of Francesville, IN went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 28, 2021.  She passed away at her residence.  Judith was born in Gary, IN on May 31, 1936.  Her parents were Robert H. and P. Justin [Cary] Hawley.  On June 22, 1963, she married Paul H. Malchow in South Bend, IN.  Paul died on June 21, 2004.

Judith graduated from South Bend Riley High School in 1955.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in education in 1959 from Indiana University.  She earned her Master’s Degree in the 1970’s from Indiana University South Bend Campus.  Judith was an elementary teacher in South Bend for several years.  She also taught elementary school at the Beaver Township School.  She retired from West Central Schools after a career of 31 years.

Judith loved the Lord.  She was a member of the Tippecanoe Christian Church in Winamac, IN.

Judith enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a Notre Dame Football and IU Basketball fan.

Bryanne (Josh) Lynch Bethel,   San Diego, CA  Granddaughter

5 Great Grandchildren: Sadie Jo, Easton, Onyx, Kaymon, and Kai

John Robert Hawley,   Brother

Visitation will be from11 AM-2 PM EDT, Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Tippecanoe Christian Church 5292 W CR 750 S Winamac, IN. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM EDT Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Tippecanoe Christian Church with Reverend Ed Clark officiating.

Burial will take place at Tippecanoe Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Gideon’s International.
