Obituary of Sandra Nan Jenkins

Sandra Nan “Sandy” Jenkins, 80, of Winamac, IN passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.  She was born on March 24, 1941 to the late John and Ester [Wayberg] Stamper.  Sandy married the love of her life Robert “Bob” Jenkins on November 14, 1959.  They were able to celebrate their 60^th Wedding Anniversary together in 2019 before Bob’s passing on February 15, 2020.

Sandy was always known to be mom or grandma to all who knew her.  When visiting, she expected you to get in her fridge, grab yourself a drink, and stay a while. She always enjoyed telling her grandchildren stories from her younger days and loved watching the wildlife outside her living room window.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Private Services and Burial were held at Mt. Zion Franklin Twp. Cemetery in Winamac, IN.
