Maxine M. Booth, 87, of Knox, IN (formerly of Gary, IN) passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.  She was born on December 29, 1934 in Splashdam, VA to the late Eugene M. and Stella M. [Ramey] McClellan.  Maxine was the beloved wife of the late Glenn M. Booth, Sr. who passed away on September 20, 2003.  She was a proud homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing, especially making scrubs for nurses at Starke Memorial Hospital in Knox.  Maxine was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Griffith, IN.   She enjoyed watching NASCAR as well as playing BINGO.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

She is survived by:

Wayne (Vicky) Booth, Son

Glenn Jr. (Gidget) Booth, Son

5 Grandchildren

Several Great Grandchildren

Betty Sue McDaniels, Sister

Bobby (Linda) McClellan, Brother

Many Nieces and Nephews

No Services will be held. 

 

Private Burial will take place at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Knox, IN.
