Nancy Birnbaum(nee Rogers), 68, passed away on February 2, 2022, in her home in North Judson, IN. after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. 

 

Nancy was born in Chicago, IL. to James and Helen Rogers on January 25, 1954. Her life was filled with love surrounding her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also had a passion for gardening. 

 

She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories, her daughter Cathleen(David) Vanerka; her grandchildren, Ashley(Shane) Fridrich, Jessica(Mike) Vanerka, Michael(Lindsay) Vanerka; her great-grandchildren Madison, Mason, Maverick, Maddox and Olivia; the love of her life, Dennis Skopelja; brothers Larry Borst, James Rogers and Robert Rogers; sisters June Vrchota and Rose Crafton; and many nieces and nephews. 

 

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, James and Helen Rogers; her brother Micheal Rogers.

 

Per Nancy's request cremation rights have been accorded. No services will be held at this time.
