Obituary of Jack W. Shannon

Jack Shannon, 84 of Winamac, IN passed away at 3:06 AM Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.  He was born on November 9, 1937 in Crete, IL to the late Harold Thomas and Iris Fern Kersey Shannon.  Jack married Gloria Fisher on April 10, 1957 in Knox, IN. Gloria died on February 25, 2001. He married Brenda Prater Bailey on March 23, 2002 in Suwanee, GA. Brenda survives.

Jack was a lifelong farmer in Starke and Pulaski Counties. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Chicago, Heights, Il in 1990. Jack was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Knox, IN.  He loved spending winters in the Orange Villa Park in Sebring, Fl.

Jack enjoyed tractors, watching the Dirt, Grain and Steel YouTube channel that his grandson Brandon produced. He also enjoyed going to the Florida Flywheelers, coffee time at McDonalds. Jack loved to watch game shows, Fox News and going to church.

Visitation will be from 11 AM CDT (Noon EDT)  until time of services Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Bible Baptist Church in Knox, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM CDT (2 PM EDT) Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Bible Baptist Church in Knox, IN with Pastor James Adcock officiating.

Burial will take place at Mt. Zion - Franklin Twp. Cemetery in Winamac, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Building Fund.
