Obituary of Linda J. Johnston

Linda J. Johnston, 71, of Culver, IN passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at her home.  She was born on March 10, 1951 in LaPorte, IN to the late William H. and Ruth R. [Gee] Mack, Sr.  Linda graduated from Winamac High School in 1969.  On July 4, 1970, she married Terry G. Johnston in Winamac.  He survives.

Linda was a loving and devoted wife and mother.  She was affectionately regarded to as a teacher of life to her family.  She worked at the Culver Union Township Public Library for 17 years. 

Linda was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church in rural Plymouth, IN.  She had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Linda collected dolls and enjoyed shopping.  She took pride in her appearance and was always dressed nicely.  Most of all, Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 2-6 PM EST Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM EST Monday, December 12, 2022 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac with Pastor Paul Whitworth officiating.

Burial will take place at Riverside Memorial Cemetery in Monterey.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church.
