Obituary of Robert D. Russell

Robert D. “Bobby” Russell, 78, of Lowell, IN passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Southlake Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, IN.  He was born on June 21, 1944 to the late John W. and Lois J. [Roderick] Russell.  Bobby graduated from Highland High School in 1962.  He was retired from Ford Motor Co. in Chicago Heights, IN where he had worked for nearly 30 years. 

Bobby enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing, and tinkering on motors of all kinds.  He especially enjoyed having an ice cold beer.  Bobby was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
