Obituary of Sally Lewis

Sally Swanson Lewis, 96, of Bass Lake, IN passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 at her home.  She was born on October 19, 1926 in Streator, IL to the late Ralph and Marian [Schonts] Swanson.  Sally was Valedictorian of Knox High School’s Class of 1944.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority.  On December 27, 1953, Sally married Leland C. “Bud” Lewis at Bass Lake.  He passed away on August 26, 1993.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Bass Lake Cemetery at Bass Lake, IN. 

Burial will take place at Bass Lake Cemetery at Bass Lake, IN.
