Obituary of Tammy L. Haunn

Tammy L. Haunn, 50, of Winamac, IN passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso, IN.  She was born on April 4, 1973 at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, IL to Francis and Julie [Sweeney] Owens.  Her dad’s military career took the family to California and Guam before settling in Ohio where Tammy graduated from high school.

Tammy moved to Winamac in 2007.  She worked at Good Oil in Winamac and Medallion Cabinetry in Culver, IN.  Most recently, she was employed at Freedman Mobility in Leiter’s Ford, IN. 

Tammy was a talented cook; often hosting her friends and family to her feasts.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing horse shoes, and putting together puzzles.  Tammy loved the outdoors, especially spending time on the Tippecanoe River in her kayak. 

Tammy will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kayla R. Haunn, Delaware, OH Daughter

Kasidi S. (husband: Pablo Torrico Alvarez) Haunn, Sylvania, OH Daughter

2 Grandchildren: Alexander and Amelia

Francis (wife: Debbie) Owens, Father

Darrell Jordan, Step-Father

2 Half Siblings: Jaymee and Taylor

Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins

 

Preceded in death by:

Julie [Sweeney] Owens Jordan, Mother
