Obituary of Jackie Armstrong

Jacqueline “Jackie” Armstrong, 82, of Beardstown, IN passed away at 11:55 PM Monday, July 31, 2023 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Culver, IN.  She was born on August 11, 1940 in Monterey, IN to the late Thomas Woodrow and Marguerite Ruth [Wolfram] Reinholt.  Jackie attended Monterey High School where she met the love of her life, Ralph Jacob Armstrong.  They were married on February 1, 1958 at the Riverbank EUB Church in Tippecanoe Township.  Ralph passed away on January 20, 2003.

Jackie worked for Kewanna Metals for over 20 years and later worked as a dispatcher for Alliance EMS for several years.  She worked hard her entire life.  Jackie liked playing cards, especially Euchre.  She raised peacocks and zedonks.   Jackie enjoyed hosting family events, especially around the holidays.  She was supportive of all of her grandchildren’s activities.  Most of all, she loved her family very much.  Jackie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM EDT Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM EDT Friday, August 4, 2023 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN with Marsha DuBois officiating.

Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery (Town Addition) in Winamac, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
