Obituary of Janet L. Graham

Janet L. Graham, 73, of Winamac, IN passed away peacefully at 9:30 PM Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac.  She was born on April 29, 1950 in Winamac to the late Charles R. and Violet L. [Marchand] Disinger.  Janet grew up in the country near Francesville and graduated from West Central High School in 1969.  On September 28, 1972, she married Robert E. Graham.  Bob passed away on February 10, 2018.

Janet was a lifelong cosmetologist until her health no longer allowed her to work.  She was the owner of Jan’s Cut and Curl and also worked at Headlines for many years.  Janet was also a longtime bus driver for the Eastern Pulaski Schools and Pulaski County Human Services.  She also worked as a teacher’s aide Eastern Pulaski Elementary School for several years. 

Janet was a member of Pleasant Ridge Bible Church in rural Francesville.  She enjoyed the company of other people, trips to Walmart, and spending time with her family.  Janet will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Graveside Service will be held 11 AM EDT Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Tippecanoe Cemetery  in Winamac, IN with Pastor Larry Fugett officiating.

Burial will take place at Tippecanoe Cemetery in Winamac, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Pleasant Ridge Bible Church.
