Obituary of Nenita Hedger

Nenita Vargas Hedger, 70, of Winamac, IN passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Catanduanes Doctors Hospital in Virac, Catanduanes, Philippines.  She was born on August 1, 1953 to the late Frisco and Angustia Samonte Vargas in Codon, San Andres, Philippines.  On August 31, 1971, Nenita married Jerry Hedger in Angeles City, Philippines.

Nenita was a devoted member of the Roman Catholic faith.  She enjoyed cooking and get-togethers with her Pinoy friends.  Nenita was deeply loved by her family and friends.

She is survived by:

Oscar (Augustina) Vargas, Virac, Philippines Brother

Eddie (Mary Lou) Vargas, Codon, Philippines Brother

Several Nieces and Nephews

Preceded in death by:

Funeral Services were held earlier this month in the Philippines with entombment taking place at San Andres Catholic Cemetery in San Andres, Philippines. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Jerry’s house at a later date.
