Obituary of William Delver Watts
William “Bill” Watts, 86, of Winamac, IN passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Northwest Health Hospital in LaPorte, IN. Bill was born on January 31, 1937 in Royal Center, IN to the late Russell Dale and Genevieve Opal “Jerry” [Reinholt] Watts. On August 5, 1966, he married the love of his life Rosemary Catherine Hawkey. She passed away on January 8, 2015.
Bill worked at Von Tobel’s in Winamac until it closed and then went to work at Broken Arrow Campground in Winamac. He was a former member of the Winamac FOE #2580 and Pulaski County REACT. Bill enjoyed watching NASCAR and going to Shady Hill. He also enjoyed collecting recipes. Bill was a master story teller – especially the one where he roller-skated (with his brother Dick and their friend Bill Murray) from Logansport to Indianapolis to go to the Indy 500.
Bill loved his family very much, especially his great grandchildren, Madysen and Hunter. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 3-7 PM EST Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM EST Monday, November 20, 2023 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.
Burial will follow at Riverbank Cemetery in Winamac, IN.
